My name is Aaron, I’m an Expat Canuck living in Brazil and loving it. I’m a 10 year resident of Sao Paulo and been living overseas for 40 years, all the time helping other people to emancipate themselves from mental slavery and invest offshore, whether it be in time, by actually putting your boots on the ground, or in documentation with foreign governments towards residence status, or in hard earned cash money. I’m a life-long evangelist for freedom, through travel and personal self-discovery. My mission here, is to share the idea that it’s Patriotic to Expatriate.
The Expat Authority network is not about me, it’s about you. If you’re reading this, it’s likely that you’ve got a deep-seated dream in your heart, to have a new home in the sun? Come on, who doesn’t?
We’re advocates of making a run for the border but not in a “Thelma and Louise’ kind way. You need to know where you’re going, how to get there and what to do when you arrive. This website is dedicated to helping people take the first step and every necessary step after that. You need local experts on the ground where you’re going, and a Network to support you when you get there. We want introduce you to an Expat Authority in the region where you’re going to have your boots on the ground, then you become part of an existing Network, ho help other people do the same.
The Expat Authority Network team currently consists of about a dozen Expats that have all been offshore for years, in the regions where I’ve travel-led and met my colleague. We teamed up on the this project to build the Network for ourselves, since each of us founders has unique local knowledge and provide professional services to Expats. I’m the web geek that registered the Domain but the Editors are brilliant individuals that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and convincing to start-up this Network. In my experience American’s are the largest, most exciting Expat community in the world, where ever they are Canuck’s are beside them but we share the same belief that we were born free. We live together overseas, in harmony with every race and creed of people, while the entire bringing with us our indomitable spirit for enterprise. Ozzie’s and Kiwi’s too, will work their fingers to the bone to make great things happen everywhere we go.
Our objective with Expat Authority Network is to cover the map, with local Expats to help anyone, from anywhere, to move anywhere in the world and feel secure in knowing they were connected to a “boots on the ground” Network of local experts.
Ernest Miller Hemingway was born on July 21, 1899, in Oak Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. His father, Clarence Edmonds Hemingway, was a physician, and his mother, Grace Hall-Hemingway, was a musician. Both were well-educated and well-respected in the conservative community of Oak Park, a community about which resident Frank Lloyd Wright said, “So many churches for so many good people to go to”. For a short period after their marriage, Clarence and Grace Hemingway lived with Grace’s father, Ernest Hall, who eventually became their first son’s namesake. Later Ernest Hemingway would say he disliked his name, which he “associated with the naive, even foolish hero of Oscar Wilde’s play The Importance of Being Earnest”. The family eventually moved into a seven-bedroom home in a respectable neighborhood with a music studio for Grace and a medical office for Clarence.
